Hello and welcome to the second issue of ‘Snippets’ which is as it says snippets of information that you might have missed about your health and well being.

A new article that has been added to the website is about Fears & Phobias, personally I believe that everyone has some type of fear even the people that say they have no fears. They might have a fear of losing this thought but read the article and see what you think.

Why am I here?
One of my best friends got to a stage in her life and asked me ‘What am I here for?’ Well besides giving a short answer of ‘42’ and anyone who has read ‘Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Universe’ will understand this answer. Being the good friend that I am, I knew this was not the answer that she was looking for so this was my reply.

Perhaps one day you are out shopping and as you are going into one shop as a man is walking out and you just happen to smile at him or even say ‘Hello’ or ‘Thank you’ if he holds the door for you. Perhaps that man has being going through a very difficult time, feeling depressed or low and all he needs that day is just a little recognition from someone - anyone to help him carry on.

With your smile or acknowledgement of him he changes his thought to ‘Ok I can carry on some more’ and off he goes to work with a happier outlook on life.

Now let us suppose he has been working on a ‘cure’ for cancer and that day when he goes back to his clinic or lab everything he has been working on comes into place and he FINDS the cure for cancer.

With your smile you have helped someone find a cure for cancer although you do not know and may never know the role that you played in finding that cure.

So perhaps your main role in life is to smile more and help others along their path.

‘For everything in life there is a reason BUT we may never know what that reason is’.

And perhaps your reason is to pass Snippets to more people …after all you have no idea who it may benefit.
